Paula & Ricky’s wedding day was simply beautiful, from start to finish. The weather had be wet and miserable for the days before, but on the 21st of March, the sun can sky came out to party. Their day was a flurry of activity from start to finish, including racing between Kyalami and Sandton for prep and photos. Paula looked so elegant and glowing in her beautiful dress, and the look on Ricky’s face when he saw her walking down the aisle spoke of only true love and happiness.
Their decor was simple and elegant, using beautiful yellow flowers offset with navy blue and grey. Just about all of the decor they did themselves, including beautiful hand-folded origami birds that served as name tags, a giant canvas of one of their engagement photos to serve as a guest book, and a huge wire baobab tree with table settings hanging off them. Everything about their day was different and creative, and they created their own set of traditions that truly reflected them as a couple, and it was fantastic to see.
Thank you to Paula & Ricky for being so wonderful and for allowing JP & I to be a part of your special day! Thank you to Mandisa and Andrew for being such great videographers to work with! Thank you to Alex at The Private Room for having such an incredible venue and for being so accommodating.
