I knew Natasha from when I photographed her Mom’s wedding in 2011, and was delighted when she contacted me late last year to arrange a portfolio session. There was a huge amount of planning that went into the session from her side, and she was nothing less than fabulous and fantastic before and after the session. She organised the use of the entire ground floor of the Crowne Plaza Rosebank, which left me speechless when I arrived. She also arranged a sublime sponsorship of clothing and shoes, which us three girls happily drooled over. Can a photographer ask for more?
To add to all of that, the very wonderful Lois Morris brought her superb makeup artist skills – I think this was the cherry on top for the session! It was also a slight challenge in terms of using flash instead of natural light – something FireFlight is all about. However, the intense dramatic lighting worked perfectly for Natasha.
Thank you again to Natasha for the fabulosity, and to Lois for waving your magic wand of glamour!
(Check out the BTS shots at the end, I couldn’t resist!)
Here are some small behind the scenes shots, it was so much fun, I couldn’t help it!
Thanks again to Natasha and Lois for all your wonderful hard work, and to the Crown Plaza Rosebank for your gracious hospitality and beautiful hotel.
